I had been diagnosed with Cervical Spondylosis since last month {errr…ok last December}. Sounds familiar? Of course it is since it is the same illness of our former President Gloria Arroyo. I am required to wear a soft neck brace and to undergo a series of rehab and physical therapy.

Unfortunately I was not able to finish the required session. Just when I am already finished with 2 sessions of PT, our company physician informed me that I need to transfer to another hospital {from Medical City in Ortigas to St Luke’s Global in The Fort} – the proximity of the later is indeed unfriendly to me. It is already out of my way from the office. So in other words, I did not pursue to continue my rehab session at St. Luke’s.

Bad patient, bad me.

But pain in my head, neck and back keeps on bugging me that I decided to finish my PT and rehab session. This is my health and I need you value it. I need to live long for my family. I need to be faithful in my doctor appointment and rehab plan. So off I went to St. Luke’s Global in the Fort – the hospital is really admirable you can feel the modern technology (facilities, medical equipments, medical computer carts}.  On the side note, the proximity is not friendly specially for the commuting public, it is just good to note too that they offer shuttle vehicles to their patrons. Not everyone is as lucky as me who have a company with a very good health plan. I need to be a good patient….
