Everyone sees me as the ever jolly and brave girl who will fight for them when we are on the right side…family and close friends looked at me as their clown when they are down and a defender when they are oppressed.  But I am just human, there are times that when I feel that I just want to be quiet for the day, the common question that I will receive is that they are asking if I am awfully sick…But there are times that problems also struck me and during this time of being down, I usually turn to Our Lord God for solace.  I seldom share my problems to others, call me a selfish friend but it is ME, this is my character, God my Protector will listen to my woes, angst and sadness.

This bible phrase is very appropriate to my situation right now since my family is really undergoing through a tough times right now.  My DH has to work abroad since financials seems so hard to sustain, leaving us a Pamilyang OFW, loving one another but away from one another.  But I know that God is close to me and my family.  When the rest of the world walks out, Our Lord God starts to walk in closer to our lives.

A Sunday Reflection for:

Last May 30, 2011, Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has announced that they will be fully implement and monitor the strict enforcement of the No-Smoking Law in Metro Manila. Of course this is unwelcome news to smokers, but good news to non-smokers like me.

Quitting smoking is not an easy task to do, it takes lots of willpower. I just hope that there will also be limitation as to street vending of this cigars, since this is really a temptation for smokers since they can easily buy and order cigars. Since smoking is a hard habit to break since it is gradual, there should be smoking designated area to be provided.

My Point of View: I just hope that this will be indeed implemented effectively and really for long term. Unfortunately it has already been 2 days that I am seeing smokers in public areas. Hmmmm, I think that they should be more vigilant and serious in this drive.

We just have our car checked for maintenance since it is a must always to have a periodic vehicle maintenance for safety and protection of the user. Owning a vehicle is really costly, it is like having a baby of your own. Here in the Philippines, Banawe, Quezon City is a haven for affordable vehicle spare parts (from accessories, tires, thrust bearings, motor bearing and the likes). So the next time you need something for your car, visit Banawe first.

It is supposed to be a family bonding day today since hubby will be leaving tomorrow to work abroad. But what should be a lazy Sunday turns out to be a “Spring Cleaning Day” to our family. Hubby notices that there is a spark coming near our entertainment set. After checking we found out that the spark is from a cable. The audio video cables seem to have octopus connections. Our mistakes for entrusting our maid in setting it up for us. Morale of the story, check the cables at home, this may be a cause of fire and accident if it is set up the wrong way.

I had been out of the blogging circulation for a while attending to my offline tasks. Apart from the big “move-in/transfer” of our family to our new house. I had been very busy at work. Yours truly is a working Mom, trying to be a wonder Mom and a super Mom, however, I guess that my best is not as good enough right now. I had been so pre-occupied at work that blogging has to be a secondary priority right now.

I am done with some office tasks, reviewing the existing operations of our group and wish me luck since I will be recommending a new innovation to our management – Dokmee document management software. After this big defense, I would like to be back into blogging. I am missing blogging, true to say that once a blogger, always a blogger.

Ever since I gave birth to my two precious kids, I had been battling with these excess pounds away from my body. When I was younger and in my teens, they would always told me that I am underweight – during my teenage, no matter how much food intake I had for the day my metabolism was fast. But today is a different story huhuhuuhu…

But right now, my officemates has been noticing that I had lost some pounds.
