As we are packing our things, I just discovered for the nth time that I had 4 punch bowl sets, 3 cup and saucer sets as a wedding gift hehehehe. But since there is this old saying from our oldies that we cannot give it to others (well, I am just not certain eh if you can give it to a relative), I am still keeping it for 18 years now….

Now this brought me thinking on what kind of a gift giver am I – well, I am a practical person so I would always buy gifts that will be useful to a person I am giving. When scouting for a gift I always ask myself if I am the recipient will I be using the stuff or just end in the cabinet forever. It is also important that you know the interest and personality of the person that you intend to give a gift. So if she collects Hello Kitty stuff like my daughter, it will be handy dandy to give her a HK stuff (I usually buy something which she can use daily or a very unique one which is not easily available. If a person is into foot ball, the recipient will surely appreciate football gifts. Now, If you will ask me just in case you would love to know hehhehehe, I prefer kitchen tools {ceramic knife, Teflon cooking sets which I can use daily} – I love to cook that is why.

So the next time that you will buy a gift to someone, always consider to be practical. It is nice to see your recipient using your gifts.

I need the will power to lose weight, I know that my weight right now is far from ideal and it is actually bothering me since I am already palpitating every time that I will have long walks or even when climbing the pedestrian overpass when going to the office.  There are several products available in the market which has good feedback like the sensa dietary supplement.  I am open in considering taking weight loss supplement, but for now I will still try to do it the natural way. 

This morning is a big step for me, since we are just new in the subdivision (it’s our 2nd week only) my kids and I have a little brisk walking on the entire Marilao Grand Villas and true enough, I shed a lot of sweat.  I just hope that I will also have a discipline to control my appetite.  I intend to have jog or take a brisk walk every weekend, let us see where this will get me, but at least this is one step ahead for a lazy momma like me.

As I look in the mirror I can not hide the fact that age is showing up. I am already 38 years old going on 39 this year, but I can totally remember my deceased grandmother who told us that we should always take care of ourselves. When she was still alive, she would always look at her best even though she is just at home. During her younger days she has her own beauty salon and making others beautiful was her business. Mommy told us specially her grand daughters that we should be beautiful inside and out.

I may not be your usual fashionista, but I do take care of myself. I live a clean-living and wholesome life – I do not drink nor smoke, but I sleep late because of my insomnia.

What makes me different from my Grand Mother is that she would always advise us to do it the natural way, For me be it natural or whatever is now available due to the wonders of new medicine is acceptable.

If you will ask me what is my point of view on beauty enhancement:

But of course, I would research about the reviews and feedbacks for that certia treatment or product. {example of review is dermitage reviews – a wrinkle cream product.}. If I found out that a certain treatment or product has negative feedback then it is my discretion not to be subjected to it or take the risk if I decide to pursue it. At the end of the day, it is always you choice.

One of my dream is to own a motorhome so I can travel almost at the confines and convenience of my own home. How I dream to travel around the Philippines since our country itself is a gold mine of wonderful places to visit.

If motor home becomes a common mode of travel vehicle in our country a motorhome repair shop will be a very lucrative business to establish.
